WGV TEAM GYMNASTICS MOBILITY

 

 

“Before moving up a level, every athlete should show proficiency at her current level”  Direct quote from the USA Gymnastics Meet Directors Manuel.

 

Per USAG rules, Levels 1-3 do not have specific mobility requirements, Gymnasts will be able to participate at a specific level when they achieve certain progressive skills.  USA Mobility score for Levels 4 & 8 are a 34.000 or Levels 5-7 are a 32.000 all around; however, the required Mobility score at WGV Gymnastics for all levels is 36.000 all around or at the discretion of the head coach.

Before moving up all team fees and tuition must be paid in full.

 

The USAG compulsory program is designed to progress Gymnasts in a safe and progressive manner, every team athlete is always learning skills for the next level while training to compete at their current level. The Gymnasts do not always understand or realize that they are learning progressions towards their next level, until they actually achieve a specific skill.

 Athletes must reach the score to move before Jan 1st or they will have to wait until the end of the current season to move.  It is not the policy of this gym to move athletes before they are ready to succeed at the next level.
